District Gallery moving into larger space in Van Aken District

Monsters to host the NHL's United by Hockey Mobile Museum experience on June 19

After eight years, Adega at Metropolitan at the 9 ceased to exist last October. The Centro took its place. “It just needed a refresh,” said General Manager Kenny Didier. “I think it was time to change it up a bit.” Centro, a “rustic Italian-inspired steakhouse with an emphasis on fresh, clean ingredients,” opened on November 4th. The all new menu features hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, house-made pastas, and sourdough brick-oven pizzas. The patio remains similar to Adega just with an updated look.
Old Brooklyn Mustard captures two international awards
Two Old Brooklyn Mustard products were crowned winners at the World-Wide Mustard Competition this week. The Cleveland-based company won a gold medal in the category Best Whole Grain Mustard for its Old Brooklyn Original IPA and a silver medal in the category Mostarda for the Old Brooklyn Spicy Pear Mostarda.
Ninja City replacing Domo in Van Aken Market Hall
The eatery, which bills itself as “urban Asian cuisine,” will replace Domo Yakitori and Sushi, which opened in 2020 at Van Aken.
